Redesign of one of Spain's most visited public portals. The challenge: bringing clarity and accessibility to a high-volume information environment used by millions of citizens every day.

As part of the design team for the 2025-26 redesign, I contributed to shaping the user experience of a platform that directly impacts millions of people. My work focused on screen composition and layout, establishing clear visual hierarchies in a content-heavy environment where structure and legibility are critical to citizens navigating complex administrative processes.

Beyond screen design, I was involved in building and adapting components to ensure consistency and scalability across the design system. I participated in defining color tokens and typographic styles following strict accessibility criteria, making sure the interface met the needs of a diverse and broad user base. I also produced detailed documentation and deliverables that bridged the gap between design and development, streamlining collaboration and reducing ambiguity at every handoff stage.

This project was one of the most demanding I've worked on — both in scale and in responsibility. Contributing to a more coherent, accessible and sustainable design for Spain's Social Security digital platform meant working with precision and purpose at every step. The result is a cleaner, more navigable experience for citizens, and a stronger, better-documented foundation for the technical teams who maintain and evolve it.
